The problem is this: there has been a worldwide glut of cotton/wool since the beginning of the game into the 1860s. While not so much problem for play, it has a huge negative impact to the Confederate States of America, which IRL was not only heavily dependent upon cotton export, but also a key supplier to Britain (and maybe to France?). That was a reason there was a possibility of Britain & France recognizing the Confederacy and assisting it against the USA Union.
So I would like to modify the input/output to Textile factories, greatly raising the demand for cotton/wool (such as lowering the Capital input and increasing the Cotton/Wool input, so as to not make them too unprofitable but drive up the demand).
Could you tell me, or do you know of a post where it explains how to modify structures?
I suspect it's in the folder: VGN\GameData\Structures, but don't know how I could edit. And besides, maybe it's better to do via script?
As a side note ... we're now crossing into September 1861 and the Confederacy still has no generals appearing .... meanwhile IRL some were already involved in July 1961. The Union has well over a dozen; the Confederacy only has the 2 locked ones of President Davis & Navy Secretary Mallory. Is there an event which should trigger for the other generals to appear?
