Taking Morrocco

I'm playing as France. I'm in 1873, and Spain is under a civil war against Carlist Spain. Spain was able to claim Morrocco as a colony, but I want it for myself. Would now be a good time to invade Spain if I want to take Morrocco from them? Could I form an alliance with Carlist Spain? What will happen if the Carlists win the civil war?

IIRC even if the Carlist win the war, at some point Spain will be "back" (i.e. the Carlist becomes Spain again after their new 'king' is recognized)...so your only chance would be to get Morocco before Spain is defeated by the Carlists
