Stop Trying to Surrender Already!

Sun Aug 24, 2014 6:33 pm

My Austria campaign continues. I am at war with France so I can sweep up some much needed colonies and their luxuries. France has fallen as has its colonies in North Africa. I have more than enough points to take all the colonies I want in a peace treaty. Yet every time I send a proposal to France it gets cancelled the following turn and France's proposal takes priority. They keep offering me French mainland provinces which I don't want. This looks like a bug. Can it be overcome? It has been going on for nearly a year now!

It isn't a bug, they are just trying to get a different treaty with you, you know it's often hard to discuss with french people... :mdr:

Seems there's no way round this particular problem. It's French people who designed this game isn't it Dan?

Yes we did. PON has some peculiarities and features that can probably be refined, improved, fixed even.

Fixed would certainly be nice.

I wasn't meaning to be disrespectful of your efforts Philippe; I'll take the commitment shown by AGEOD's developers over any other company any day. But something like this is just so frustrating that it wrings all the enjoyment out of playing the game, and continuing upbeat assurances that such flaws really aren't a big deal and you can just sail blithely onward just make matters worse.

This is sad. We must have to think about the situation.
