Gold deposits should decrease over time

Sun Dec 29, 2013 11:15 am

I am kind of curious. How long did the California gold deposits last in real life? In my game it is 1883 and the Californian mines pump out a gargantuan amount of gold each turn for the Americans. I think there should be events that decrease the amount of certain resources (including gold, oil, coal, etc) over time.

Since scripted events make them appear, events could make them disappear. I am about to script such events, but it would be wise to first gather historical information of mining activities and yields over time.

I thin in theory you can reduce resources - the main issue would be what to do about the structures that are now present in excess of the limit, especially if there are structures from different nations.
