Objectives and Prestige

When I check the breakdown of the prestige i have gained in a turn the objective category seems to vary if not every turn then every few turns and this is for the same set of controlled objectives. Does anybody know why this is? Does the population contentment level make a difference to the number of prestige points you get per objective region?

Does anyone also know what the number in brackets beside the objective represents eg For S-P Torino(300), Genova(15) etc. It is obviously not the prestige amount per turn. (I'm guessing it is the National Moral value?)

Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe that the value does change with contentment (can't prove it though).

Don't know what the values mean exactly (it's not the prestige gain for the year however, unless you have some weird divider).

Thanks for the reply Jim. I to believe the variation in objective prestige is down to contentment going up or down in that particular region but haven't got anything to back it up with. Does anyone know what the bracketed figure against the objective refers to?
