it very simple, add this to diplomacy - negotation (of peace terms).
I got to war with khia via event - and it was ok, i in peace deals get all thier territory (ocupied them long enough), and after certain time I dicovered they still exist in game as empty country - they are on diplomacy sceen, you can deal with them , but they have no land. It is bug or feature ?

and here come improvment to teritory deals - if you get parts of colony to you in peace treaty, then if you go war (again) with same country , then transfer value of colony is lowered by coresponding value of alleady owned teritories.

First of all, annexation exists as a fantasy option in extended claims. Go to the options and select it at your own risk. You can paint the map your own color, as long as it borders to your national regions. But would this be realistic?

I am not really sure. What you say happens right now to our multiplayer. It is 1858 and as Japan I have commercial agreements with the Koreans and Annamese (Vietnamese). The thing is: both of them don't exist on the map: the Koreans are vassals of the Chinese and the Annamese have been conquered by the French. They still exist, cause their nation is NOT destroyed, albeit subjugated. This is historically accurate. You can't simply eradicate a nation. After all they wait for their moment to be liberated...

For the annexation i agree, it wouldnt be possible that days. As long revolts and partisans are possible in PON, total annihilation of a culture is not possible.

for the states it is a problem!

states are scripted by time periods i understood, to ensure the event based character of the game and some alternative outcomes.
maybe i was more easy to run them anyway, than to program a fail-safe-switch getting into action as soon one rewrites history.

unfortunately not only colonies are the problem, that you can waste diplomats thereby, but also this alternative historical states like Texas, Republic of California, Southern German federation...

Diplomatic action should only be possible as long there is a capital.

I mean, this are not the Meos and we are not the CIA, hard to get in touch with someone who had to subdued to "alien" powers.

Not loosing treaties with the people / having relations to them is one thing. A OFFENSIVE diplomatic action AFTER they got overrun shouldnt be possible unless event based

hmm, mayby anexation was not exacly right word, just relpace it with "instant colony" for tribal nations, vassals (or something similiar) for civilized nations.

yes sure, but it would still remain in the optional extended claims mode of PON.

at the moment events/scripted colonies still overrule military seized colonies, you can simply loose them too easy, despite being winning it legally. this wasnt solved satisfactorily, it also works only with extended claims

additionally there is this problem of "i-own-the-structures" but they got back the province and vice versa bug...

but i understand what you are playing at and i am sure the devs do either... even if they are busy ;)
