Here is a Nation's 3 letters Tag list I did from AGEOD's xls files. As some asked for it here a long while ago, I thought I might as well share it.
Nations/Factions organisation level is also indicated.
Updated file to v02, with the few missing tags added.

Pretty neat, thank you. It is nice to have a list of all nations according to organization level.
Note: I think the Ottoman Empire (TUR) qualifies as unstable, not tribal.

Thank you Kensai. I totally forgot to mention the handy organisation level XD
I'll edit the file once I've found the few yet missing (like the few russians unit). Let m know if you find other mistakes please, thanks!

I updated the file. Found the missing Russian's coop units tags meaning, and fixed the Ottomans org level.

Mmm, is the South German Federation what I think it is? A placeholder for an Austrian-led German Empire in an alternate history scenario?

could be abused as such,
however, indeed it was negotiated in 1866.
Württenberg refused even the though, Austria later rejected any alliance with the other German states at all.
so it was done with treaties of defense, the last who "joined" informally the "Northern federation" with mutual support was Hessen-Darmstad in 1867

I noticed something very curious. Luxembourg (LUX) is not simulated in the game. Belgium can be partitioned to Wallonia (WLL) and Flanders (FLA) but the region of Luxembourg can never be autonomous...

nothing new for you or anyone else...
may i cite ye:
"Been playing Belgium in our glorious MP game. Seriously, I think Luxembourg as a territorial part of Belgium (since most of its land indeed was) is the most precise approximation.
I wonder if the Luxembourg crisis of 1868 is simulated in the game though. Haven't checked the event files cause I didn't want to discover any other spoilers for my campaign. It would be nice if Luxembourg has the possibility to become completely independent in the course of the game, one way or another. We even have Flanders (with its own unique flag) as an emerging faction, so why not Luxembourg? "

Yeah I know what I've written. I repeat: it is curious they reserve autonomous nation codes for Flanders and Wallonia but NOT for Luxembourg.

Is the console command to change factions supposed to work with the demo?
EDIT: I figured out how to do it in the demo. However, I did experience a crash on my first turn of playing the Sioux.
