I read that this was approved already, where is the holdup currently? I hope it comes up on GG or the tech support forum soon.

I am waiting with the GC until this first patch is up so I can play a few turns before the next .

If you bought the download version and not an hard copy, then you are already in 1.01, so no need for a patch. For betas are in 1.01d but QA must approve it before anything.

Usually Paradox releases beta patches to registered users in the Tech Support forum; is it a policy that you won't be following this convention of theirs, or has that just not happened because Paradox is busy in LA this week?

This is only true with a game that is more than two or three patches beyond release and when the pace of full patches is beginning to slow down. P'dox doesn't do this when games are new.

any chance of posting a read me with what was changed from the demo version?

i havent bought PON yet but i almost certainly will within the next few weeks. i would however like to see whats been fixed/improved.

Which is the one that has a fix for the big memory leak that crashes the client, and fixes dying leaders not being replaced??

Yes the first official patch will be 1.02, with a further memory leak fix. It also fix the leader problems.

This is where I don't quite follow. According to a thread on EU there was some patch awaiting Paradox approval, what is that patch about then?


It would be nice to have some of the early reports fixed so I could finally start a GC. I don't have the patience to restart 10 times.
