Hey Community and DevTeam,
I was observing for a long time the AGEOD forums and own ACW,RoP,RUS and looking forward to PON. I am a historian and currently writing my PhD. Playing the demo with Prussia and Austria I found some points to be questioned. I made a short and not comprehensive list of the first things - hoping to contribute to PON improvement.
Pride of Nations Demo Version 1.01 GC 1850 – German Language and Historical Corrections
How is your province and city naming policy - depending on ethnical majority or the language of the controlling empire? I try to correct the names of the Prussia, Austria and the Minor German States according to the second guess. If you prefer the ethnical version, just give me a hint.
If you need any OOB for any German Country I will see what I can do, to be as historically accurate as possible and offer realistic proposals for to build forces. I found that PON/VGN/Includes/1850GRC_OOB includes the current playable OOB. Is there also the OOB for the to build units or do they always have generic names (1.Inf / 2.Inf etc).
If you show me where, I can try to alter the names inside and send you the improved version proposal.
Inconsistency German language
how its currently used ingame:
ü = ue
ü=u
u=ü
that is totally mixed up – I try to make a list with the relevant names for you
Update: Ok, got it. So if you have to avoid ü/ä/ö then ue/ae/oe would be the correct spelling. I change all name proposals at the list.

There are many more chips and unit name things to fix. Also some loading screen / tutorial texts seem to be from RoP. So if you need support for research just give a hint whats needed.
Keep up your great work! PON will be fantastic!
