Will this Crisis Generator only have historical "Crisis" or will there be random ones also, say something like " German destroyer fires on Russian fishing boats" or trade disputes between countries. Thanks.

Will it be possible that one of these crises could start a war or will it be like - "The archduke has been assasinated by Serbian extremists - Do you want to declare war?" Basically what I'm asking is , will it be possible that a war could just begin based on one of these crises or will it just create a hostile relations and the possiblilty of war
Either way as I said in the thread, I think this will be a great innovation.

Yes, a crisis can 'explode' in many unexpected ways, including a general war

In case of a crisis it is often necessary to react in the right manner. If you are not prepared for War, can you then use proper diplomatic actions like trade sanctions and embargos against the aggressor...?? Is then the situation given that other friendly states are more ready to aid you imposing sanctions against the aggressor...??
For example France threaten you with war and is a Republic and is allied with perhaps Italy will then Austria, Britain and Russia more able to help you with a decent support...??
I do not know anything about your diplomacy part, but I hope that there will be more than simple options to choose.

Does it also allow the possibility of a Peace Conference type thing (such as the Berlin Conference of 1878)?
*Or was it the Berlin Congress?

In a lot of situations a crisis is not necessarily easy to avoid. The key to the game is the idea of gaining prestige, and prestige is rarely gained by backing down and avoiding war (especially if you are unprepared). Realistically, in a crisis, as in a war, there are winners and losers. A nation that is unprepared for war will be nailed in crisis' as well (given that your opponents may be prepared, and back up their threats with actual force). So, it will probably not be an easy thing to avoid wars, have a weak military, and still win the game.
Every nation has enemies and potential friends (in many cases, your friend's enemies are also your enemies, and your enemies enemies can potentially be your friends). Pulling a 'Bismark' is probably going to be possible, but only if you actually have a strong military force to back up your wheelings and dealings.

Right now it will be at most 3 nations, one being the mediator (optional). We will then see if we can refine and broaden things in the future.
