I’m playing as France and I have an infringement CB on Haiti. Why do I have this?

Also I am curious. Can i take the National region of Haiti in a colony transfer? Or if I get Military Control, can I increase Colonial Penetration?

Anothet question. In the Grand Campaign, France gets a objective to possess Lebanon. But its already a Colony of Turkey (Ottoman Empire), how do I get Lebanon?

1) Haiti owns one of your objectives so this will re-occur

2) not sure, it depends if its a non-national region .... to be honest I've forgotten all the complexities around this issue

3) war with the ottomans, run up a large warscore, demand the Lebanon in the treaty, this I am sure of as its a colony and these can be swapped vs war score in a peace deal

About #2 - Haiti is an independent nation. You have a couple of courses of play the simplest being: declare war, win the war, then occupy Haiti with regular troops (and no Haitian troops present). This will eventually allow you to win the loyalty of Haiti and will give you the objective.
However, to annex Haiti will be difficult as it is a sovereign nation.
