1880 scenario name

Thu Oct 04, 2012 4:52 pm

Hello,

I have downloaded the 1880 campaign last night. After installation and start of the game the campaign can be selected but the scenario name only shows

5. strScenarioDispName

and there is no scenario description. What did I wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Tom

I can see the scenario name. It is GC 1880, or something like that (not "Scramble for Africa", btw). Your problem, I dare to say, is because your LocalStrings had been, someway, modified.

Laruku is right; it seems that your LocalStrings_VGN.csv wasn't updated with the 1.03 patch (like it happened to me).

Best thing is to manually delete the csv file and restart the 1.03 patch, it will then be generated.

How to solve the problem? I have downloaded the ACW campaign a couple of days before and all seems to be right with this one in contrast to the 1880 campaign.

Have you done so as described in my above reply?

You bought your copy from which shop by the way? You can first apply the patch, check you are in 1.03 then apply the DLC.
