Current plan is to churn out quickfixes and no major patch, as the Ageod team is working on Paradox France NCP2. Personal note though, we still want to improve PON over time but it can take months even years to be done.

Out of curiosity, how different is the PON engine from, say, the one that will be used for AJE?

I find that it takes an awfully long time for my system to move to the next turn in PON, but that may be because there are so many different countries' AI turns that need to be set up before moving on.

It would help AGEOD's reputation on some other sites considerably if there were several clear statements that the problems some people encountered with PON won't be showing up in AJE. The Wargamer forum in particular seems in need of encouragement.

It's not the same version of the engine...AJE uses the "older" one (pre-PON), which is in that case much faster and no significant slowdown has been seen...
