graphic bug?

on the map around Bordeaux France the ocean overlaps the land in a semi rectangle, covering up a fair number of regions.
same thing with western sicily around palarmo.
also near the globes there are several small odd shape pieces of ocean. they arent covering anything up but they look odd.
also a piece of dogger bank near the channel slides around when im zoomed in. it exposes the none ocean background underneath.
could it be my video drivers or the resolution im using. my video card is an ati x800 pro and my desktop res is 1152 x 864. i have game set to run same res as desktop.
