Unit Statistics

Fri Dec 12, 2008 10:44 am

The current method of viewing the total force seems a little on the basic side. A total count of corps is nice, but it really dose not give a clear picture of how your army is developing. The other unit list with the stats is not really practical IMO. Although there is much info listed there, it would be quite a bit of work just to categorize the starting forces, let alone, to keep track of losses and new units.

What would be a nice improvement would be a page which would give the total number of corps, subdivided by by the characteristics; attack, move, and defend points-at a minimum. It would be even better if the number of RP hits was listed for each unit, along with nationality. Artillery and cavalry units should also be included in the same list. An added bonus would be to have the current army assignment for each corps in the same informational table.

Something like this would make it much easier to determine which type of unit should be built, or upgraded. It would also useful in understanding the big picture of RP usage and demands.

I don't know how much work this would entail, or if it even can be done with this system.
Just a little item for the wish list. :)

So, now that Calvinus has fixed most everything and he is just taking it easy :) ; I thought I would bring this up again.

The statistics book needs more statistics. It seems to have all the pertinent areas of interest covered, but the amount of info in many of those areas is a little on the light side.

Dates, quantities and the color of the graph lines could use some attention. If this is something that is doable; I'm sure that there would be a large number of suggestions from the players to help out the lead programmer. ;)

What say yee Ageod Guys?
