Savegames displayed in chronological order

Wed Nov 19, 2008 11:05 pm

Is it possible to display the savegames in this order? This would be also helpful returning to the game after some days.
The name of the savegame is self-explanatory, but while not being used to the sequence of phases (diplomatic, event and so on) it would help to get a good overview.
Or at least display the time and date the savegames were generated. (as it is done in AACW)

Is really no one interested in this feature?
In know that there are much more important issues to do.
But am I the only one in the world who wants to have the latest savegame on top of the row?
I feel so lonley... :crying:

Thank you for your reply, vonRocko.
Because of the frequent crashes the last days - which will surely get repaired by calvinus (Calvinus, thanks and a good time off for you:thumbsup :) - I would also have to label the hour and minute.
So I open the savegame folder and look at the attributes of the savegame.
But it's really only a minor problem and as soon the programm runs smooth this problem gets even smaller.

I hope your current crashes are now fixed thanks to the LogfileAI disable + all the CTD fixes for Interphases, merge of diplomats, etc. etc...

For the savegame window, I will surely improve it in the future... adding "sort by" buttons and so on...

Calvinus, isn't it already weekend? Didn't we told you to rest?! ;)
Thanks for your reply.
It's so very important for the sucess of the game and the reputation of AGEOD that there is such a hard working man like you.
So personally I cannot be annoyed by the early problems of the game.

Since yesterday evening - played an hour or so - I got no crash. After some weeks of erraticly trying what to do this game starts to shine and opens up it's sercets to me.
I am convinced that it will become a fantastic game.
At most now I'm anxiously awaiting the battle summarys.

But no hurry for now, calvinus. I wish you a nice weekend.
Over and out!

Another hour and half and my relaxing week-end will finally begin!

The Combat Log Window requires a lot of work... So I cannot promise it will come before Xmas, I want to be sincere!
But it will come for sure as soon as possible...

Thanks to all,
Calvinus.
