The AI continues to play events "against" itself, in this case, "seizure of neutral shipping" (see attached image). Doesn't make much sense.
In the boardgame, this event (and others, like "torpedoing") are so-called "public" events that have to be played when drawn by a player, even if it hurts them. Computer LGG appears to need a similar mechanism where some events automatically get played? The AI seems to do that already, but human players can sit on an event for the entire game.
