Demo keeps crashing

I got to July 1915 in the Grand Campaign after figuring out that the way through the game is to save frequently so the crashes don't wipe out too much. After the "Events" phase, the newspaper thing shows up talking about "strikes", and the game crashes. Every single time. I've tried to get through it about four times now, and it has crashed every single time. And this is on 1.05f, no less. Is there an error in the coding?

Edit: if you keep crashing even with 1.06A, I suggest you to disable sounds & musics (Configure Game tool)... look here: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showpost.php?p=132019&postcount=26
I'm working on this issue for all those unlucky PC configs / Sound Cards / Codec drivers version that suffer such problems.
