CTD upon siege resolution

Sat Dec 20, 2008 2:54 pm

In my current game I get a consistent CTD in the military phase upon siege resolution in Cracow. A single AH militia corps tries to hold Cracow against a Russian army. It fails, and when I push the 'next battle' button the game crashes. See the save game attachted.

I tested your savegame with the latest patch version 1.05c update that will be posted by Philippe today (till waiting... :love :) , and no crash. So let's wait Philippe publishes the new 1.05c official update. ;)

Btw, I see French AI is doing well, strong attacks in Metz and Vosges, plus a good defensive line in Ardennes... :)

Thnx. Calvinus.

I used the 1.05c patch that I had downloaded yesterday. By patching with the 05c file that PhilThib has offered today I was able to proceed past the bug. As an added delight I notced an air battle over London, with my I. GHC recon planes - no casualties by the way, but an interesting screen!

I should tell you that the game is really starting to grab me and drawing me in - very deep, colourful, lots of decisions to take, great historical flavour and feel!

Kuddos to Ageod and its lone *1* developer Calvinus. The 'developing curve' has been unusual and somewhat erratic - to understate it. But the amounts of input that have been provided by the afficionados has really helped to shape this gem. And more seems yet to come!

Enjoy your Xmas, knowing that you have provided all the WWI gamers with a great game!

If you are playing in strictly turn-based mode, there's a further update (see patch 1.05c thread), the last!

Then... xmas vacations! :happyrun:
