W. Barksdale vs Benway9

Tue Dec 30, 2008 7:46 pm

This is all I've heard from them... Who is the host for this game?

i think the issue should be determined in the next few turns. it could go either way.

Pete

I am hosting the Barksdale (USA) vs Benway (CSA) game. Unfortunately, none of us has heard from Barksdale (who was winning) in the past two weeks - despite repeated attempts at communication. In accordance with the groundrules of the tournament - I declared Benway the winner of the Round 1 Far West game (as of Sunday 28 Dec).

Their Round Two game clock has started ticking, if Barksdale does not contact anyone I expect that Benway will win by default and face the winner of the Josh4BS vs Yellowhammer game.

Benway has agreed to host the next Josh vs Yellowhammer Round.

I haven't gotten a new turn since 12/14/08. i've been in contact with the other two players, and they havent heard from him either. unless we're instructed otherwise, we were going to forfeit barksdale. we couldnt think of what else we could do. i'm currently hosting their flip game. if i was going to advance, i'd much rather do it through victory as opposed to forfeit, so i'm open to any other suggestions.

thanks

Pete

Yeah, whatever the most current one is.

Your host will be Jeff aka pkpowers. I'll send you a pm with his e-mail.

Gentlemen, if you'll provide me with all of the data for the final turn in which Barksdale played, I'll calculate the ratings results. This will be the first use of the "sudden death" clause in the ratings equations I've developed, unfortunately.

To avoid possible confusion, please report POWs exactly as they appear on the "Objectives" page in the game.
