Vardè

Fri Apr 10, 2009 6:44 am

Not a very warry question, and apologies for having so little Italian, but can anyone translate

Tornà, son tornà, son tornà par sempre,
Tornà nella valle dove gera me popà.

Vardè, ma vardè, ma vardè la valle,
Vardè le montagne dove gera le contrà.

I think I've got the first stanza, but the second..?

[Being the words to Benia Calastoria, one of several haunting music tracks that comes with the game]

I'm back, I'm back, I'm back forever
I'm back into the valley where my father was

Look, oh look, oh look at the valley,
Look at the mountains where the country roads were
