Unknown slider in options menu

Please can someone tell me what this slider does, since it is not mentioned in the documentation. Thanks.

If you mouse over the slider you should see a tooltip open that tells you it is the Interception timer. During mobile phases, you can check the Interception box for those armies capable of conducting interceptions of enemy armies that advance into their area of responsibility. You are given a choice of whether or not to conduct the interception and if you choose to do so, what strength to allocate. This window runs on a timer that is set using this slider to set the time that you want to make the decision. If no action is taken before the timer runs out, the default action will fire.
