- Fixed a rare crash caused by orders removal during execution
- Fixed a bug introduced by PBEM that made impossible to play in multiplayer mode by LAN
- Fixed a bug that made possible in rare occurrences to have two stacks with the same ID when detaching or placing reinforcements

Scenario corrections:
- Corrected French text in step 6 of tutorial #2

"Goes" means that the beta 1.08P is now official. So there's no change since the beta 1.08P. It's simply to inform everybody that 1.08P is considered stable and can be installed also by those people that do not want to install beta patches.

You're right. I updated the beta thread (and closed) and I corrected the first sentence of this thread. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry, I've got a problem, I've bought the Ageod Strategy Collection Battles of 1750-1918 (DVD), so (I assume) I have the "boxed" edition. Then, I have to install this patch (1.08P)?, I mean, installing this patch is enough? or it doesn't work in my game? (or I need to install other patches, or I don't know). Thanks, regards.

I don't know about such collection.

Just check if you have installed World War One Gold on your PC. If yes, install the patch 1.08P and it's done!

I have the strategies collection somewhere - I'm pretty sure the WW1 version was the original not the gold version. It's got the oddly angled map.

Updating to gold is worthwhile.

The code protection system is a mess, I need to enter them twice for each edition (2 for first edition, then 2 for gold addon), going in the game folder to launch the configurator exe.
Maybe you need to enter the code one more time.

If Taillebois sees the angled map, that means WW1 base is installed. No way to install 1.08P, compatible only with Gold edition.

That' s because I want to try the game before (if I decide so) upgrading to Gold Edition. I was looking for any "old" patches in this forum and all I found was not available for download anymore (the files don't exist). Besides I don't have any idea if I'd have to install one or more patches for this game edition. Thanks again.

I think this is the last patch for the non-gold WW1 (1.07L):

You do not need other patches, just this one.

But many improvements were made in WW1 gold and in the 1.08 series of patches, you might not get a true idea of how WW1 gold nowadays plays out.

You have to be careful... World War One (boxed, setup of my DVD edition Ageod's Military Strategies version I) is the WW1 Classic, not WW1 Gold....so patch 1.08 won't work. You can only apply the latest Classic patch, not the gold. My advise is that you puchase the WW1 Gold update from us, then you'll enjoy a much improved playing experience

Yes, 1.07 series patches are for the Classic version of WW1 (1.08 series are for the Gold edition).

I would believe you can install the Gold update over any version of the classic one.

I just bought World War One Gold from Matrix games and the exe says it is version 1.0.8.12 am I going to need to download additional patches, or is this 1.0.8p all I need? Thanks for any info.
