Multiplayer

How does the multiplayer work in this game? I play AACW via PBEM and PON for fun against the CPU...but I need a game where several of us can play together...Axis and Allies style! I really miss my old board game club...so is this game a candidate for that?

Hit me up and lets game!

Hello, the game can be played both in PBEM (use patch 1.08O) and in realtime multiplayer via Internet with TCP/IP or on a LAN. Actually version 1.08O has a bug that makes impossible to play in realtime multiplayer, but a fix is already done. So you can only play PBEM. I just have to find some time to work on some other fixes and publish a new patch 1.08P. ;)

Sorry to disrupt the thread

lordlau1,

if you also feel like playing PoN against human opponents, you are more than welcome to join our ongoing MP game: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?542218-Anybody-want-to-try-a-Multiplayer.

We are curently 14 players and there are still many nations to play.

As an avid boardgamer myself, I can confirm that PoN - just like other AGEOD games - comes as close to board(war)gaming as it can.
