Sequencing w initiative

So let me ask a stupid question:

Assume Plan 17 and Grand Duke....

As the CP you gain initiative, just to allow the Ent to move first.
They are forced to make attacks because the game forces them to.

In the 2nd half of the combat turn, you absorb replacements and then
exploit the now terrible positions the ENT were forced into,

and....

On the next turn, you get initiative, and you now choose to go first,
before the ENT can replace anything, and you basicly inflict very heavy
losses on all of them.

This is how it is supposed to work? y/n

90% yes, I'm just not sure about this:

Refill of units is an action, not an order. Actions are performed immediately. So, even if you move first, AI plans her orders and performs her actions, you plan your orders (moves) and performs you actions too; then you execute your moves, provided AI has probably already refilled her units! :)

By the way, I suppose you're playing in strict turn-based mode, right?

actually no army based mode.
It seems easier to track the units...however for some reason
it is hard to transfer corp assets
