Just a simple beginner

Is there a beginners guide?
I am having trouble trying to sequence my turns
I understand that I can use army by army mode
but it isnt active, how do I activate it?

when your in game there's a menu button at the bottom right corner. click on that and a options screen will come up. one of the options is to play army by army.

Calivinus stated in another thread that it's better for a beginner to use WEGO mode which is the default setting when you install the game. Army by army mode is for advanced players so if you're a beginner it could make things more difficult. I've never tried it myself .
