So I purchased the game, and sent the manual to Staples online to print through their copy center. They tell me that because they are printing it and not me, they would need permission from the copyright holder (AEGEOD) in order to print it. If I print it, no problem, since I purchased it. I haven't had this problem before, but then I hadn't sent any AEGEOD games to Staples to print, just Matrix ones.

Anyone run into this problem? I can't afford to print that many pages on my printer.

I recall someone else having a similar problem, but I'm unable to find the thread with the solution right now.

I recall that we had a special note on the early pages of the WW1 manual allowing such photocopy for private usage. So, permission granted

The copyright notice at the start of the manual does make an exception for personal use, but this might not be sufficient for Staples?

If the manual receives any further updates, perhaps a more explicit note covering cases such as rsallen64's can be added?

Perhaps they think you are a terrorist wanting to print out a manual on how to start a World War.

Frankly I reckon it must be marginal whether it would be better to buy at Staples a cheap mono laser printer and a ream of paper. About 60 quid in UK.

..or buy an ebook reader and stuff the files on that

Believe me, I have been thinking about that. Maybe tomorrow.

Problem solved. I got it done through FedEx/Kinkos instead, no hassles. Thanks for all the feedback and help!
