In my game started under 1.05i and then patched to 1.05L as Germany I built a number of Battlecrusiers one Hindenburg, Lutzow and Mackensen.

Now it was said that they would be built by Nov-Dec 1915, well its March and I have the Lutzow but the other two have not shown up and they are no longer in the build tab.

So who stole my battlecruisers?

Also why cant I build any more ships?

Well, I finally found some time to work on your report!

I'm wondering if the Hindenburg and Mackensen are ships that, once built, have gone inside a naval squadron already deployed on the map. So I'm going to search that single ships.

Edit: I examined your savegame with a text editor and I found that the two warships are still under construction, yet three build steps per each to be performed.
I'm now going to check visually the shipyards...

Confirmed also visually: for Hindenburg and Mackensen warships you simply performed only one build step each! Three ones are yet to be done! Go to the Recruitments window...

I tried also building ships, with no problems. Perhaps, when playing, you had already reached the max number of buildable ship steps (that depends on the current civil production level).

Thanks for looking into it.

If I remember correctly I didnt create just one step with them, I built the whole ship or squardron for each. I hit the concurrent buttons so that it would be built with all the steps and I wouldnt have to worry about them any more. Maybe I misunderstood the buttons, does the ship building stop after each step even though I selected all the steps?

I could be wrong, I will watch more carefully next time..

Seriously, this is a pretty obscure rule, and it's easy to miss.
