What Now ??

I put the game aside a few months ago. I have been applying the patches as same are issued. I'm up to 1.05h. I have been reading the forums and assumed the game was very stable by now.

I want to play again, but the game just crashed as I loaded it up, after I chose a scenario but before it finished loading. Should I re-install from scratch and patch to 1.05h ??

The 1.05H is still a beta-patch. Nial reported some installation problems, related to 1.05H only.
Try a fresh installation from zero + 1.05H patch, or the 1.05G (which is giving no problem to Nial).

However, the official patch will come very soon. We are having still some problems with the Spanish language, because some texts are too long and they do not fit inside the windows. So this could generate a delay for the release of the official patch.
