Very Impressed

Im new around here as evidenced by my post count.

i just wanted to say how impressed i am by the support the developers of this game have displayed in this forum.

a few weeks ago i stumbled on this game and ageod quite by accident. i liked the idea of a wwi stratergy game, so i came to this site to get some insight into the game before ordering.

as you know the game had some teething problems. but because nearly all of the posters here vouched for ageods good reputation in supporting their games, i decided to order ww1 despite the problems the game had at that time. (heck i even added acw and napoleons campaigns to my order).

i must say that they were telling the truth. the support shown by phil and calvinus has been in my opinion outstanding. the demo i tried to play while waiting for my order to arrive was virtually unplayable on my machine. but within a week or so of receiving my purchase in the mail, they had whipped the game into such good shape with the last couple of patches that it hasn't crashed my old machine yet. and i understand many other refinements are in the works.

all in all this game, and this forum, have been a very positive experiance and i glad to have become a member of this community.

You won't regret.AACW is one of the finest game ever made on the Civil War and is yet improving :)

For WW1, AGEOD is administring how to turn a botched release in a succesful engine.
