The Manual

Here is now the final version of the large manual, covering ALL sections 1-31 of the rules, and Appendices.

It is in US A4 format, Low-res PDF to be uploadable here and read from your PC. The high res version for print will come later on, once the last graphical and layout adjustments are made.

Please do not hesitate to report in this thread any inconsistancy you could find, so we can improve our work.

I'd like particularly to thanks Mark and Martin for their help in proofreading and layout. Without them, I'd be still in the middle of it

Uhm, this game doesn't have PBEM?

Apart from that, I'm afraid I have little time to devote to PBEM, but I appreciate being asked :)

No problems opening it here. Could it be a corruption during download?

Could be, but I've tried downloading it half a dozen times over last 20-30 minutes and still no luck, just get a message in winzip that it's not a valid archive

They are listed in the Readme.rtf doc.

Btw, next patch will add two new shortcut keys (for the laptops who don't have the Pause key):

F9 - pause/upause key
F11 - do screenshot

Thanks,
Calvinus.

Hi meivin,

you find a list in the readme file:

Code: Select all

Arrow keys:              scroll map
Page Up / Page Down:     zoom in / out
F1 / F2 / F3 / F4:       change map display mode
F5:                      Quick save
Pause:                   Pause / Un-Pause the Artificial Intelligence
Ctrl + P:                Go to Statistics window
Space (or right click):  browse the land/naval forces inside the selected area
Enter:                   browse the armies/fleets belonging to the selected nation
Ins:                     browse the land/naval detachments belonging to the selected army/fleet
Del:                     remove the latest movement step order
V:                       change background music
Tab:                     switch map sub-mode
#:                       make a screenshot
Esc:                     menu and options
I am not sure if the latest patches added changed something in this regard however.

Cheers
Norbert
