Offensives

Mon Dec 15, 2008 2:20 am

Planned an offensive as the French on Belfort.

I've taken the area. But in the planning screen it doesn't seem to recognise this? And says the offensive is still ongoing?

Hence i can't plan any new ones.
I got messages saying i took the area and got a NW bonus.

Also notice the graphics over Belfort have changed to the map edge graphics.

You can still carry on with GO's with your VIII Army. Just move it into the next province you want to attack and you will carry on with the GO screen.

You captured the target area, but in theory you can continue the GO until the end of the year. You will be able to plan a new GO not before the next year...

Ah ok, is there a rule of only one offensive allowed per year?

Yes. One offensive (per nation/front) per year. Offensive's effects (success or failure) are entailed during the Nov./Dec. Interphase. Then a new offensive may be planned since the following turn.
