After 8 rounds of battle the enemy will not commit

See screenshot.
I am unable to press next battle and since the enemy will not commit anything to the battle pressing engage have no effect (waiting for opponents commitment)
What can I do? Am I missing something obvious?
I waited for 40 minuts now

According to the screenshot, you have not put a unit in first line on the right flank....that's why...the AI still waits for you to 'complete' your moves... I guess we should disable the "Engage" button in such a case

No I did try that – including using the AI help button – I have already won the flank battle on the right, I can only assume that is why I was not allowed to commit forces there

Then send the save to Calvinus...may be the enemy has no troops left (but a fortress is in Metz) and we may have a loophole here...or bug

OK - here it is.
I’ve played a few times – only happens when the French win so you may need to play a few cards on the battle to reproduce the issue
