Do I need to start the army and the escorting fleets in the same ports? How do I conduct shore bombardment?

Also not clear about the restrictions on co-operation and deployment. Could I, if I so desired, send a couple of very strong Russian armies to the Amenian front to smash the Ottomans in conjunction with the Western allies moving up from Egypt or would I suffer MW loss for out of area deployment?

Hmmmm

Armies and fllets need not to be in same port...what is important is that they have the same destination for 'Naval Transport' mission... select a beach in enemy territory (with a beachead symbol) as target of the land units naval move...this will do the landing... for the fleet to offer support, she must have B or BB ship type present, plus be located in the coastal sea zones adjacent to the target beach (select this sea zone as target of the fleet's naval transport mission)..

The restriction on cooperation mostly apply to stacking and joint attack of same regions... having the Russians in force in the Caucasus, while Brits move up north from Egypt should not generate any such problem, there are too far apart... and if they link up, it means you are winning ;)
