Just finished the early August and August 1914 turn of the CG using the beta patch (1.0.4e).

Got some surprising NW adjustments, that don't match up with how NW is adjusted in the LGG boardgame, which is fine, but will need a thorough explanation in the new manual:

End of August 1914

GE 14 RP 8 MUN 39 NW 8 Losses
AH 7 RP 3 MUN 38 NW 12 Losses
FR 2 RP 3 MUN 30 NW 15 Losses
RU 3 RP 6 MUN 31 NW 35 Losses
EN 0 RP 6 MUN 40 NW 4 Losses

Start of September 1914

GE 26 RP (+12) 21 MUN (+13) 26 NW (-13)
AH 31 RP (+24) 9 MUN (+6) 22 NW (-16)
FR 26 RP (+24) 12 MUN (+9) 15 NW (-15)
RU 33 RP (+30) 10 MUN (+4) 15 NW (-16)
EN 6 RP (+6) 8 MUN (+2) 27 NW (-13)

The RP and MUN adjustments look about right, but the NW adjustments don't make much sense to me, unless there are a lot of things at work in the computer game that aren't resident in the boardgame. The Germans took only 8 loses but lost 13NW? Why? One possibility is that "losses" are being calculated differently in the computer game, but without a manual chapter on this yet it isn't clear.

In this game, the Germans have taken Liege and have Antwerp under siege, but no other cities have changed hands. No major action on the diplomacy front either, so I'm stumpted.

On the plus side, the game is running well using 1.0.4e with all sounds off.

This afternoon I fixed a bug in NW fluctuations adjustment... in some cases NW was altered in not-concerned countries. So this could explain your doubts.

Indeed I'm realising the bug fixed this afternoon was really generating a mess in the NW fluctuations........ :mdr:
