I think that we all agree that Calvinus did an excellent job with the music. Adding the Italian songs was an inspired choice. However, I am afraid that he missed the most famous Italian of them all for the period.
In 1999, as part of the millenium celebrations, the BBC Radio announced the top 100 popular songs of the 20th century based on item sales. At number 70 beating out Little Richard was Enrico Caruso singing 'Over There' in both English and French. I do not know if it is possible, but it would be nice if this song could added to the music play list.
