Observations/Minor problems

Tue Nov 11, 2008 5:33 pm

First off, I am enjoying the game. Good job!

Just wanted to list a few minor things I've found while playing.

In battles it would be nice to get a little more of a round summary rather than just the red text that gets splashed up. Also the red text in the middle of the battle screen overwrites the line of yellow text making both unreadable.

End of game screen problems. I played the Palestine scenario and then turned around and played the Capparetto scenario and thought I'd done pretty well but at the end of the game I never found out as the End of game screen still had the information from my previous game. Would be nice if you could look around the map, view stats, etc. after the game is over instead of just getting sent back to the main menu.

Another minor issue, some of the general tips screens are still in French in the English install.

Really looking forward to the Big Manual as I'm lost as to what to do sometimes in the game ;)

+1
After re eading the brief manual i will try another scenario tonite.
One small question. How do I use the airplanes (for reconnaissance, tactical support or bombing)? Should they stay with the army or act independent?

Minor problems continued:

On end of scenario you get a victory or defeat screen with points; but you can't review the tally or the map as it's gone.

I'm getting an error message when exiting the game.

Just draw the fleet stack out to the North Sea, it will find its route.
