Battles for Grand Offensives will allow you to implement new Combat Doctrines, choose land tactics, etc. etc. so having a much wider range of operativity on the combat field! The purpose is to breakthrough the Front... :D

Battles in minor offensives will be much more restricted. Simple bombardments, minor combats... no tactics...

What you mean "new"? except various loading / menu screens and photos I've yet to a see a single screenshot.
