Minor issue, maybe me?

Thu May 13, 2010 1:47 am

I started the Sebian scenario, just to get a feel for the new interface. It is AMAZING how superb and smooth it is running! But I am allowing full AI behavior , and Full AI time, I fight a battle in November and afterwards I see the little brains still on the battle is over and it will not let me move on to the next battle?

I have reloaded the save three time but always a freeze? What can I do, or amd I doing wrong?

I can't get it to not freeze, in the November turn combat so i am deleting the scenario and restarting. May thi time I can get through it!

I just tried the scenario from both sides without issue. When playing the CP, I used the ai for battle management (which I very seldom do)-no little brains left on the screen and it played through to completion.

All I can suggest is to exit the game completely and restart.

BTW, I got a draw while playing the Serbs and a marginal victory with the CP. I took the 2nd Army in the initial deployment.

I played Serbia scenario on both sides too, and I use "Give AI full time" and "Use all AI behaviors" options enabled too. Never got a freeze. But I'm going to test it again, just for safety... ;)

Edit: I did a new test playing as Austria, no freeze, final result: minor victory for Austria (I captured only Belgrade, Velika Plana and Cettinje), 5 VPs.

The second and third time I replayed the scenario no glitch. So it may have just been my machine?

Do the first happened during the very first play since game launched? Or did you do so: you played one scenario, then finished and run a new scenario (Serbia) without quitting the game?

Calvinus, it happened the first time I played, I reset AI options about four times to try to fix it but ,no go. So I restared the game and the scenario and played it twice more with no problems!

So probably it's something related to the need to restart the game executable.
