downloadable map

Wed Feb 17, 2010 3:26 pm

Hi! Could anyone tell me if there is a downloadable map, and where to find it?

I am thinking of starting a new game, and would like to get used to it... :)

Thx in advance

There is no downloadable map for the moment (the full map size is a huge 800Mb file). What would be the use you want of the map ?

May be we could make a smaller version, in jpg format (still around 120 Mb)

Note however that the map does not contain any of the cities sprites you see ingame (because they are added when the game runs), so you would just only see the regions

Helló! Eddig valahogy elkerültelek a fórumon, igaz már nem nagyon járok erre :)

I think the best way of getting used to the map is playing on it ;) Granted, there are occasions -when you are a newb to the game- when it is hard to know where a battle is precisely taking place on the big map, but for that, you can use the retreat/advance window, even if you don't actually want to do any of that, you can just take a look on the "zoomed out picture" and cancel it down.

kicsi a világ :)

The reason for having a map is simple: I am considering starting a new game, possibly multiplayer, and would like to get "familiar" with the map.

I found one on the net (attached) and thought there may be other ones with a bit better resolution.

thx for the answers
