Reaction Move Question

In my next game i would try the Army by Army Mode. But one thing puzzled me. How can i made an reaction move? I know which button i must click and how the rules work but when the ai makes his moves i cannot move my mouse. :bonk: So must i first pause the game to click the button?

Yes, pause the AI and book your reaction. ;)
