Multiplayer options

From what I understood, the game has a 2 player and a 4 player multiplayer scenario.

Is is also possible to:
a) play with 3 players (one AI player)?
b) play a 2 player coop game against the AI, like Germany and A-H against the AI Entente?

Especially b) would be interesting, I think.

No to both. All player slots must be full in order to start a MP match.
