Reinforcement confusion..

I'm in the reinforcement phase in early 1915, March I think. I have at least 10 corp to be placed for Germany and A-H. I am trying to drag and drop into HQs listed above the reinforcement box and am getting the message that the move is disallowed because of overstacking restrictions. Well, the HQs I am droping on contain only two non reserve Corps. and these are the non desiganted corps. Even the corps that are designated for a specific HQ will not work when trying to drop into that HQ and I get the same overstacking message. It looks like I will have about 9 reinforcement corps that I can't place. I thought the stacking limit was like 5 corps per HQ and 6 in a hex. There is something going on here I do not understand. The new manual does not offer any help either. Help please?

The only other complaint I have now is my inability to combine stacks. I'm talking even two seperate detatchments of the same HQ that are in the same area that I want to combine into a two corp detatchment. Just can't get it to work.

Stacking limits depend on terrain. If you wish, you can post here a zipped savegame, so that I can check carefully what happens and provide you a more detailed motivation. Also, if there is a bug, I have the opportunity of fixing it...

Have you tried dropping the stack over the base of the soldier?

I think I have but i will try that. BTW, I just read a thread where you say there will be a change in how this is done that will come in a future patch. Great.

If you're playing with counters I find moving it over the flag of the counter works.
