Supply Considerations

Mon Dec 08, 2008 8:41 pm

There are a few important supply considerations that are not clear to me.

1. How far can a unit/army be from a supply source?
a. 2 hexes comes to mind, but that apparently is not the case all the time.
2. Does the weather/climate affect this distance?
3. How long will it take for an army to suffer the effects of a lack of supply?
4. Are there variations of being out of supply?
5. How long can a force survive while surrounded;
a. In a friendly fortress?
b. In friendly territory?
c. In hostile territory?
d. In a friendly city?
E. With, or without a General?

If I missed a situation, please feel free to add that to the list-thanks.

Hey; even a partial answer would be helpful. Someone must know something. Even if you are not sure about your knowledge, it could be helpful.
