Another CTD

Thu Dec 04, 2008 7:49 am

Playing the grand campaign again last night as the allies, the game went from the German siege of Antwerp straight to the siege of Liege.
The results from the previous siege were still displayed on the Liege screen. I waited then clicked engage resulting in another CTD.

Let me understand. The siege of Antwerp finished and you clicked the "Go to Next Battle" button before closing (or even the display of) the Combat Results popup window? So the siege of Liege started, you closed the "old" popup window and... crash?

The siege of Antwerp finished, results displayed, then I clicked the "Go to Next Battle" button.

Same siege window stayed open but map changed (to Liege) and title (saying seige of Liege).

The previous combat reults stayed onscreen. (still unreadable due to text bug)

I waited, nothing happened.

I clicked engage. (all other buttons greyed out)

Crash!

I think the reason is why you haven't closed the popup before clicking the "Go to Next Battle" button. Ok, I will try to reproduce tonight and I will fix so: the "Go to Next Battle" button cannot be clicked as long the popup is visible.

Thanks,
Calvinus.

Next version (public official 1.04g tomorrow) will have all bottom battle buttons not available as long a popup window is visible. ;)
