What to do with German subs?

I'm in Sept 1914 and I'm wondering what to do with my one sub group (2 subs and 1 zeppelin). I just got submarine warfare success in political attempt.

Those subs that you see, are the ones to be used in direct naval warfare, ie. against other warships on the map. You build these under the "shipyard section" of your construction menus.

The other kind of submarines (to be built under "submarines") which fight your economic war, and they do not appear on the map. Rather, you can see their current number at your naval icon (top of the screen, where munition and the rest of the infos are). Their number can decrease of course, dependant on the resolution during the Interphase.

If you see it on the map, it is a "naval" sub. For the sub warfare against the Brits, you obviously want to build "economic" subs.

LOL, you didn't answer my question.

- I only know one way to construct subs. Click on recruitment/construction and in there you have option to build u-boats, either 1, 2, or 3.

SO my question is WHAT type of subs will these be when they are produced?

a) the physical ones that go with a fleet on the map

or

b) the abstract ones that do sub warfare against the allies (think germnay starts with 3 if reading the hover correctly??)

The abstract ones. As I said in my first reply, you build the naval battle ones under the "shipyard" section of the reicruitment menu.
