Factories

Hi

can someone please explain me for what factories are good for? (gas,aviation,ammunition, etc.) The board game rules mention only sites.

They work more or less the same as in the boardgame...you need those factories / sites to increase your warfare production (of ammunition, aircrafts).. you start only with a few of them, thereby limitating your production capacity.

To produce more, you need to affect more of those sites from the 'civilian' production to the war economy... this is done via a political action (you can select the action any turn, but they are handled every quarter only)..
