Time Question?

Sun Nov 09, 2008 8:03 pm

Been reading the manual and understand that there is 9 turns to a year. Also read on weather. In some wargames in the past the reduced 12 month period was due to weather-such as snow, mud or what condition applied.

Is this the reason that there is only 9 months in year and not 12, along with weather effects included? I am just wondering.

PhilTib could better answer you, but I think it mostly to simulate less activity during those winter months and such. Weather is checked each turn for the different weather zones anyways.

You've got it all right...the bad (winter) weather severly limited offensives, so while developping the game we realized that the winter lull could be best represented by putting 2 months per turn during the winter time :D
