Ageod's new website is up!

Wed Jul 31, 2013 3:53 pm

We are very pleased to announce the opening of Ageod's brand new website, available both in English and French. The site is now up and running and follows the design of Matrix Games website.

By following the Matrix Games model we have been able to introduce a number of significant and new features with minimal disruption.

Ageod followers will now receive frequent updates and feeds regarding their favorite games, including videos, screenshots, releases and much more. It will now be possible to show the product page for new and upcoming release in the Coming Soon section.

A major feature of the new site is that customers will be able to purchase Boxed editions of their favourite Ageod titles (standard or collector editions including a full colour manual) as well as the usual digital version.

“It’s a huge leap forwards for us”, says Philippe Thibaut, Director of Ageod. “As well as reaching our loyal customer base, we are now able to introduce our products directly to the huge Matrix and Slitherine communities and present our entire catalogue. The option of a full boxed copy is a great innovation and the new site will provide our long term customers with much better service re communication and purchase options. The common interface with Matrix will allow future improvements to be rolled out simultaneously allowing quicker upgrades and benefits to all our customers creating a much better customer experience”.

Customers visiting the old website, www.ageod.com, will automatically be redirected to the new one.

As said previously, the download section of the new site is pathetically outdated. As an example, the patch proposed for AACW in this "brand new site" is...1.10 from May 2008...

New visitors will probably like the new site, while we "veterans" will have to adjust to it if we like it or now.
On the brighter side the page is now a lot faster than it was in the beta stage.
