Die Manöverkritik: (GER) "Beginners care for tactics, professionals for logistics!"

Tue Apr 14, 2009 7:44 pm

The Gesellschaft für historische Simulationen (GHS, http://www.ghs-kosim.de), a German Cosim club, has published a review of Napoleon's Campaigns in the Spring issue of their quartely club journal "Die Manöverkritik". On three pages (yes, it is a printed journal), they review the game engine and the basic concepts of NCP. The whole review sounds very positive and the reviewer sums it up to:

" wrote:Beginners care for tactics, professionals for logistics! [...]
This game is for the strategical Bonapartist fond of details. The focus on details is the strong point of this game, although it's simply overwhelming sometimes. This game is a must for everyone interested in the Napoleonic area. However, be sure that you do not get overwhelmed by the high complexity of supply and leadership.

 Still good to see compliments about NCP.
Side note : After wandering a bit in the site, I found that all links to extra games are broken (under "Hilfe").
